What I take on in every room of the house, and what I don’t.
Most houses carry a running list, and none of it is worth a separate trip from a separate trade. Bring me the whole list and I will work through it in one visit, so you make one call and get one bill.
A few of the jobs that come up are big enough to be their own project, and those have their own pages on this site. Everything else is below, room by room. I cover Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex counties from Manalapan, so most of these visits are a short drive.

In a kitchen it is usually a faucet that drips, a disposal that quit, or a cabinet door that never closed right, and I can get through a few of those in one visit.

Bathrooms fail one piece at a time, so most calls are a toilet that runs, a vanity that has swelled at the base, or caulk that has let go around the tub.

Walls and ceilings take the abuse in a house, so this is patching, skim coating, and repainting so the fix does not show, plus hanging whatever needs to go on them.

Floor work is either laying new plank, tile, or hardwood, or sorting out the floor you already have: squeaks, soft spots, worn transitions, and concrete that needs leveling before anything goes down.

Doors and windows come up two ways: the door that rubs or the latch that will not catch, which is an adjustment, and the worn-out door or window that has to come out and be replaced, which is a bigger job I also take on.

This is the swap-out work: fixtures, fans, detectors, outlets and switches, and furniture that arrived in a flat box, with the line drawn at anything inside the wall.
